Valkenburg 9/2006
In September 2006 we were present at Valkenburg with Uivernest (Jan van Mourik), Mariahöhe (Henk Wust & Derk Huisman), Vroonen including the new gasworks (Dick van Beek) and Dunalistair by myself. Many other narrow gauge layouts from home and abroad attended, including the late Tony Mortlock's 'Hayesden'.
Dutch Group 4/2006
In April we met at Bert van Rhijn's place in Zoetermeer, admiring work by Dick van Beek, Otto Schouwstra, Eddy and Martijn Bolderdijk, Hans van der Linden, Jan van Mourik, and by Bert and myself.
Otto was working on a new project in 6.7mm gauge. Eddy had some nice structures such as a steam tram loco shed and a water tower formerly from his home area. His son Martijn was working on a Backwoods NGG16 for 'Kit' Kittle. Jan had brought his model airfield which would be the centrepiece of Uivernest, shown later that year. Dick had brought a collection of new structures. Finally, Bert was working on rolling stock for a planned Welsh theme layout.
